5.27.08 — Kaady's "Cleaning Green" message featured in local newspaper campaign.
With environmental awareness at an all-time high, a new full-color, 5-column ad began running in late May in local newspapers serving readers throughout the greater Westside Portland/SW Washington areas in which Kaady Car Washes are located. Its message: at Kaady, "cleaning green" is nothing new.
In addition to describing Kaady’s water-conserving "Water Smart System", and the environmentally friendly soaps and cleaners used in the wash process, the ads describe how since the 1980's, all Kaady facilities have been specially equipped with technology that saves electricity as well as water.
Based on a "variable frequency" principle, the system assures that only the optimum amount of power required for thorough and efficient cleaning is used with each vehicle that passes through a Kaady Car Wash.
Like Kaady’s 30-second "Clean Rivers and Streams" commercial being televised concurrently in the same areas, the newspaper ads convey the core message summed up in the tagline: "Kaady Car Washes, Good for the Environment, Good for Your Car… and for all that your car goes through."
