On February 13 of this year, the US Defense Department-sponsored organization Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve (ESGR) presented its “Above and Beyond Award” to Mr. Charles Kaady. The honor was conferred in recognition of the Kaady company’s proactive employment polices in support of active and retired military personnel, and was presented by Gen. Dennis Klein, USA (Ret.). At the same ceremony, Kaady Location Manager James Nichols received the ESGR’s “Patriot Award”, for which he’d been nominated by former US Army Reservist and combat veteran Chris Moir, who works under Nichols at a Kaady Car Wash in Beaverton, Oregon.
