James Nichols, Location Manager at the Kaady car wash at 10270 Canyon Road, recently received the “Patriot Award” from the Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, a US Defense Department agency dedicated to recognizing businesses that go the extra mile to accommodate the needs and obligations of the men and women who serve our country while holding down full or part-time private sector jobs.
Chris Moir, Assistant Manager to James at the Beaverton location, and a former US Army Reservist and veteran of two deployments in Afghanistan, nominated his boss for the honor.
The award was presented by ESGR representatives at a February 13 ceremony at Kaady Headquarters in Portland, attended by owner Charles Kaady and other company management and staff, as shown in this 4-minute video.
